Caddell Dry Dock & Repair - 100 Years Harborside 

The following series of photographs were commissioned to celebrate the 100th  anniversary of New York’s last remaining operational shipyard, Caddell Dry Dock & Repair Company on Staten Island in New York City. 

Surprisingly in those 100 years, the sites, sounds, and smells of the dry dock  have not changed much. The photographs in this series focus on the refurbishing of a single tug boat, the Barbara Bouchard.  

This work was published in the book, “Caddell Dry Dock & Repair - 100 years  Harborside” by the Noble Maritime Collection in 2009.
